1. Does it cost the recipient to receive messages?
To the recipient, an SMS message sent via the web is identical to that sent via a mobile phone.
In most countries around the world it does not cost anything to receive a text message. There are a few exceptions, most notable the USA.
2. How much does it cost to send a message?
Messages can be purchased in "packages". The bigger the package, the less the cost per message is. Should you wish to purchase more than 5000 credits, please contact us to arrange payment.

3. Do credits expire?
No. Credits will never expire.
4. Do you get free messages?
smsGeezer is not a free SMS service provider. You get 3 free messages when signing up for an account to allow you to see how smsGeezer works.
We cannot provide free SMS because ultimately it does cost money to send messages. From time to time you may come across web sites that claim to offer free SMS but ultimately someone has to pay. Usually these sites will try and subsidize the cost of sending messages by exposing you to advertising or putting your email address on mailing lists.
smsGeezer does not subsidize messages by exposing you to advertising or selling your email address to spammers. We are very much against that.
5. What countries can you send messages to?
The short answer is most! smsGeezer has coverage in 588 networks in 182 countries. For a details list of networks covered by smsGeezer, please visit our coverage page.
6. A message I sent was not received. Why?
There can generally be a number of reason for this. We have to rely on many different mobile phone networks to deliver the messages. These mobile phone networks run well most of the time, and messages come through promptly. We have witnessed occurrences where it has take up to 4 hours for a message to come through. So maybe it is still on its way.
Please note, there are occasionally problems sending to people that
are on one particular network but originally got their phone number
from another network. This is what is known as a "ported" number. Should
you have problems receiving messages because of this, please contact
us with the number and we will try and send it differently.
Obviously we cannot always blame the mobile phone network. It could
be us!. We are trying our hardest to make sure that everything is running
100% of the time. Regardless, if there are problems, please contact
us.

(in the "Compose" tab). Here you can set a delay on a message, or schedule
for a message to be sent at a certain time.
Please note, once submitted, you cannot cancel a pending message. Please also
note, if you schedule a time to send a message, the time will be based on the
time on your computers clock. If this is wrong, so will the time the message
is sent.

11. How do you receive replies back to an email address?
Once you are logged in to your account, in the "compose message" tab the "reply to" drop down allows you to enter in an email address. Enter in your email address here.
For the "reply to email" function to work, smsGeezer has a "bank" of mobile phone numbers, and your message will be sent out from one of these numbers. We record the number you sent the SMS too, your email address, and store these in a database. Once a one of our bank of numbers receives a response, the database is queried and if there is a match an email will be sent to you with the message.
