This policy has been developed in line with the voluntary National Privacy Principles for the Fair Handling of Personal Information developed by the Australian Federal Privacy Commissioner which represent industry best practice, and The Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2002 (Commonwealth of Australia).
This policy is in addition to the Terms of Service governing the Website and the Service and should be read in conjunction with those Terms of Service.

Collection of Personal Information
We take your electronic privacy seriously. While we are the sole owner of the information we gather on the Website and during the course of a delivering the Service, we will not share any of your information with any outside party without your explicit consent unless we are required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law, cooperate with law enforcement or other government agencies, or comply with a legal process served on the Website or the Service, or court orders.
There are three kinds of information that smsGeezer obtains about you:
1. Aggregate Information
Aggregate Information is anonymous data that websites and mobile services use to analyse trends, administer the Website and the Service, diagnose problems on the sites and services' servers and communication networks, track users' movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use and to help improve the quality of the web pages and the services. It may be your domain name, your IP address, or mobile phone network provider. None of this information is connected with Personally Identifiable Information.
2. Personally Identifiable Information
Personally Identifiable Information is any information that personally identifies you. When you become a registered user of the smsGeezer service, we ask you for your mobile phone number. Should the service be used in such a way that contravenes the smsGeezer Terms of Service, we require your mobile phone number to take appropriate remedial action. Further it enables us to identify who is using the service and enables you, the user, to achieve the best possible results from smsGeezer.
Should you choose to record the name and number of frequently used contacts (thoes whom you send messages to), this information will be stored by smsGeezer for your use only. Under no circumstances will smsGeezer provide this information to a third party, or use this information for any purpose other than in the normal using the service.
We also record other information including responses to promotions, giveaways and competitions. Whenever a page is requested from our web server, we record the time, date and URL of the request, along with information on the browser software that is being used. This information is collected to provide valuable research in better understanding the preferences of our users and to enable us to better target our communications, including competitions and prizes.
3. Service Use Information
When you use the Service, smsGeezer will collect your mobile phone number, and the message you send. This information is collected to ensure the smooth operation of the service. The message will stored for up to 28 days. This information is collected to assist investigations into accusations of misuse of the service pertaining to the terms of use of the service (see the Terms of Service).
Before you can use the service, we require you to register to the service, confirming you accept the Terms of Service. smsGeezer will store your mobile phone number to ensure the smooth operation of the service. smsGeezer will store you mobile phone number until such time as we receive a request to have it removed.
Your mobile phone number will not be automatically revealed during use of the service unless clearly stated. Should you voluntarily disclose personal information via the service, this information can be collected and used by others.
Use and Disclosure
We may share Aggregate Information with our partners and advertisers. We will not share your Personally Identifiable Information with any third party unless we have obtained your expressed consent to do so. An "opt-out" option will always be made available to you with all communication.
Our use for your Personally Identifiable Information can include:
- To notify you if you are a winner;
- To send you information about smsGeezer, our Website and Mobile Service;
